Allow associates of the hotel to check the status of the AC remotely.(Anywhere you have an internet connection - the system also has a smart phone app) We have turned the AC units on from the parking lot at the airport while waiting for the guests plane to land using the iphone application 

The reception can access the thermostats using the front desk computer. This allows us to turn on AC while the guests are checking in and turn it off when guest check out (saving money and providing better guest comfort)

Guests lose, damage and remove batteries in the air conditioning remote controls. Additionally many guests do not understand the remotes and cannot get comfortable.
