The property is located on the Pacific on the Nicoya peninsula in the mountains near Samara on the edge of a village with friendly Ticos, approx. 9 km from the beaches. The 7 most beautiful Pacific beaches around Samara, Carillo and Nosara can be reached quickly. At night, the air here at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level cools down quickly to around 22 degrees Celsius, good for sleeping, in contrast to the beach where it is often still around 30 degrees Celsius until 10 p.m.

The Lots has easy access via the internal road. A garden adjoins the level construction area, in which large trees of mangoes, avocados, limes, malinche, as well as oranges and bananas and other things are already growing. The view to the southwest is fascinatingly beautiful on the Pacific Ocean.

The hacienda:

The plots are located within the Finca Cotinga. The finca contains roads, hiking and riding trails. A well-tended jungle path leads to the waterfall with natural bathing pools in the river, which is also accessible to the residents of the finca. The power line with transformers is laid along the internal road. A large part of the finca remains as a jungle. In every season monkeys move around in search of food as well as pizotes, birds, zorros, opossums, lizards and other animals. There are also fruit trees such as mangoes, limes, zapotes and avocados and others scattered around the finca. A small part of the finca is already permanently inhabited and used for renting with 3 guest houses. This includes a stable for 5 horses and pastures and orchards with many different and unusual fruits. Therefore, everyone can quickly feel comfortable and secure at home. Another part of the finca is planted with oranges, interspersed with valuable native trees that bloom in color and provide small fruits for the birds. Interested people are welcome to spend the night with the residents of the finca in one of the guest houses to get a feel for the beautiful place. The money for the overnight stay is refunded for up to a week when purchased. The reviews of the previous holiday guests exceeded all expectations. Location:

The location of the finca is 9 km from the beautiful beaches on the Pacific Ocean on the Nicoya Peninsula in the mountains near Samara. To the many beaches (Playa Samara, Playa Carillo, Playa Buena Vista, Playa Barrigona, Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, Playa Ostional, Playa Camaronal) the driving time is between 21 and 60 minutes. The beaches around Samara are fine sandy beaches without seaweed and without jellyfish. Some have offshore reefs and have shallow, gradual access, even for children, without dangerous currents. Surf schools in Samara quickly teach you the fun of surfing. Divers and snorkelers will find interesting destinations here. Dream away into the day on lonely beaches. The finca is on the edge of a small village with friendly Ticos, which makes life authentic and gives an incredible peace from the noises of civilization. The singing of the birds, the calling of the howler monkeys and the chirping of the circades are the backdrop of the noises, especially intense in the morning and in the evening. For shopping you can quickly get to Samara or Nicoya. In Samara as a tourist destination there are many opportunities for activities such as ziplines, canoeing, snorkeling, diving, deep sea fishing, horse riding, surfing and much more.There are many small hotels and restaurants on the beach and in the village.

Nicoya is one of the oldest colonial cities in Costa Rica and has remained authentic without tourism. Everything for living and building or repairing the house can be bought here. The stronghold of yoga institutes and massages is the town of Nosara, as well as a hotspot with long, big waves for surfers. It's spread out in the jungle. One of the most beautiful mountain roads with changing panoramic views leads directly from the finca. Liberia International Airport is less than a 2-hour drive away. The trade in high-quality consumer goods, building materials and service providers have also settled in the area. A lot can be done in one day on a round trip. Some national parks are nearby and are always worth the excursions. The Barra Honda National Park with its famous stalactite caves and dry forests is such a destination. The residents

and visitors to the finca often take a boat tour to Palo Verde National Park. In this area where the Rio Tempisque flows into the Gulf of Nicoya (mangrove forests), countless animal species such as waterfowl, monkeys, crocodiles and huge iguanas in their splendid colors can easily be observed. The trip, the boat tour and the catering afterwards make the day an experience. It is further to other national parks such as Arenal Volcano, Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, Rainforest and Cloud Forest Monteverde and a day tour until you return.
