The finca is located in the heart of Costa Rica in the province of »San Carlos«.
More than 25 years ago, the finca was acquired by a German emigrant couple and turned into a Garden of Eden with a lot of love and diligence.
In 2011 we took over the property, with the voluntary commitment to continue operating it according to ecologically sustainable principles. You will find a refuge for nature lovers without having to forego the convenience of stylish living comfort.

The property can be divided into three levels: garden, pasture, pond and streams (with 2 springs), tropical rainforest. The houses were erected at a respectful distance from each other. There are two large, well-maintained family houses and a large guest house with two apartments, which was built in 2014. When the sky is clear, there is a beautiful view of the "Volcan Platanar", the river of the same name, the "Rio Platanar", is at the same time an imposing property boundary and wonderful bathing lagoons are in the immediate vicinity.
In 2014 the guest house was built with two apartments with high equipment. Both approx. 50 sqm apartments consist of: living room / bedroom with kitchen, cozy seating area and bamboo four-poster bed, bathroom, exclusive outdoor shower with a small garden, spacious terrace area with rocking chairs and a hammock .

Volcano, waterfalls, Caribbean coasts - all accessible.
The impressive Arenal volcano is within sight. Also nearby and a recommendation from us, the »La Fortuna« waterfall and the hot springs of »Bio Thermales«. The sky-blue »Rio Celeste« is extremely worth seeing and only a day trip away. The Pacific and Caribbean coasts can be reached in a few hours.
