Town (Parrita) 15 km. Canopy - a must for all Costa Rica travelers - is offered by a neighbor (2 km). The nearest village Las Mesas is only 1 km away. However, apart from a church, a school and a soccer field, there is only the beautiful landscape to see.

Parrita: is a small town located between Jaco and Quepos on the Costanera main road. The village has experienced a great boom in recent years due to reforestation, tourism and agriculture. The next larger town is Parrita with a very good infrastructure (supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, doctors, bakeries, schools, restaurants, gas stations, hospitals, post offices, central bus stations in all directions, hardware stores, workshops, and much more). The nearest beaches Palo Seco and Playa Bandera are within easy reach. You can reach the fashionable seaside resort of Jaco (Surf World Championship 2009) via a paved coastal road in 40 km, Quepos with the famous Manuel Antonio National Park is 45 km away.
